Who can apply

Company must have fewer than 225 employees in the US (with at least 75% in New Jersey), operate in New Jersey for at least two years, have protected proprietary technology, and have net operating losses. This is one of the most valuable non-dilutive funding routes available to New Jersey deep tech and biotech companies.

  3. If approved, NJEDA issues a certificate
  4. Sell the certificate to a profitable New Jersey corporate buyer through a broker
