Who can apply

The business must be certified as a Qualified Indiana Business by IEDC. From 1 July 2026 this includes retail businesses selling unique patented products they developed. The credit is transferable in some circumstances.

How to apply

  1. Establish an Access Indiana account
  2. The business obtains Qualified Indiana Business (QIB) certification from IEDC
  3. The investor submits a capital investment application for IEDC approval
  4. The investment must occur within two years of approval
