$63.5 million of federal SSBCI funds delivered through Community Based Lending Organizations. Microloans of $500 to $25,000 and regular loans above $25,000 up to $20,000,000; program funds may be no more than 50% of the loan principal and no more than $125,000. Terms generally up to 10 years; rates and approval terms are set by each lender.

Eligible business is resident in and authorised to do business in New York, independently owned and operated, not dominant in its field, and employs 100 or fewer full-time persons. Targeted at new companies, under-banked communities and socially and economically disadvantaged (SEDI) owners. Eligible uses: working capital, real property improvement, machinery and equipment, limited refinancing.
