Who can apply

For-profit US business with tangible net worth under $20 million and average net income under $6.5 million for the two preceding years. Funds long-term fixed assets with at least 10 years of useful life; cannot be used for working capital, inventory or speculative investment.
How to apply
- Find a Certified Development Company (CDC) in your area via SBA's CDC finder
- Work with the CDC and a third-party lender to structure the 50/40/10 financing
- Submit the application through the CDC
- Close on the bank loan and the SBA debenture
What you will need
- Business plan
- Three years of business and personal tax returns
- Purchase or construction documents for the fixed asset
- Job creation/retention or public policy justification
