MEDC Capital Access Programs (loan enhancement for small businesses)

MEDC works with participating lenders to enhance bank loans to small businesses: Capital Access Program (businesses with fewer than 500 employees), Loan Guarantee Program (generally loans of $250,000 or less), Collateral Support and Loan Participation, plus private activity bonds. Funded with SSBCI 2.0 money; businesses apply through a participating lender, not MEDC directly. Through 2025 MEDC deployed more than $360 million to lenders, assisting more than 2,200 small businesses.
