NIA announces new thematic priorities each fiscal year. Monitor mis.nia.or.th and nia.or.th for the next thematic call and its priority areas.
Larger grant of up to THB 5 million per project covering up to 75% of project cost, for innovation projects addressing specific national priority themes announced by NIA (such as ARI-Tech, climate, food and agriculture, and medical innovation).
You must co-fund 25%.

Deadline: annual_call — Theme-specific calls with defined windows announced on the NIA MIS portal, usually one to three calls per year.

- Locally registered entity required
Thai-registered juristic person with at least 51% Thai shareholding, with a project fitting the announced thematic priority.
How to apply
- Check which thematic areas are currently open.
- Register on the NIA MIS portal.
- Submit the concept paper against the theme.
- Submit the full proposal if invited.
- Committee review and pitch.
- Contract and milestone-based disbursement.
