Who can apply

Companies registered in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance, setting up new smart production lines physically located in Hong Kong. Applicants must demonstrate the financial capability to fund at least two-thirds of the project cost.
How to apply
- Plan the smart production line, including equipment, automation and the Hong Kong production site.
- Submit the application through the NIFS online system with the business case and financials.
- Assessment covering technology content, economic benefit and financial capability.
- Approval, funding agreement and milestone-based disbursement.
- Operate the production line in Hong Kong for the required period after completion.

- Detailed budget and equipment quotations
- Certificate of Incorporation and Business Registration Certificate
- Audited financial statements for the past three years
- Evidence of the company's matching contribution
- Site or lease documentation for the Hong Kong production facility
