Up to HK$1.5 million per startup per year for a maximum of three years, provided through the startup's host university. Each participating university receives an annual allocation and runs its own internal selection.

Technology startups formed by current students, staff or graduates (usually within the past few years) of a participating Hong Kong university, or commercialising that university's research. Detailed criteria are set by each university.
How to apply
- Confirm the startup has the required connection to a participating university (founded by current students, staff or recent graduates, or using university technology).
- Apply through the university's knowledge transfer or entrepreneurship office during its internal call.
- University selection panel assessment.
- Award and funding agreement with the university.
- Progress reporting to the university, which reports to ITC.
