Awards have historically run up to several million ringgit depending on the stream, with a company contribution required.

Malaysian-incorporated companies with at least 51% Malaysian equity commercialising locally developed technology (TDF1) or acquiring foreign technology for local production (TDF2).
How to apply
- Contact MTDC to confirm the appropriate fund stream and current availability.
- Prepare the commercialisation proposal including technology source, market analysis and financial projections.
- Submit the application with supporting documents.
- Technical and financial due diligence, including site visit.
- Approval committee decision, agreement signing and milestone disbursement.
