Company incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, proposing to carry out one or more Malaysia Digital promoted activities, with commitments on knowledge workers and, for the tax incentive, on Malaysian ownership and operating expenditure.

How to apply

  1. Confirm the company's activity falls within a Malaysia Digital promoted activity.
  2. Register and apply on the MDEC online application platform.
  3. MDEC assessment of the business plan, technology and knowledge-worker commitments.
  4. Approval and issuance of the MD Status certificate with conditions.
  5. Apply separately for tax incentives where eligible, and comply with annual reporting.
