The exact subsidy percentages and the joining reward amount are published in the scheme guidelines; the ZED guidelines page returned a robots error at the time of verification, so those figures are recorded as null rather than guessed. The official site reports 672,994 MSMEs registered and Rs 604.85 Cr of financial support provided to date.

Who can apply

Open to manufacturing MSMEs with a valid Udyam Registration. The scheme encourages manufacturing with 'zero defect' and 'zero effect' on the environment. DPIIT startup recognition is not required; Udyam/MSME registration is. Additional incentives exist for women, SC/ST, NER and ZED-linked units.

How to apply

  1. Register the MSME free of cost on the ZED portal and take the ZED pledge. — link
  2. Apply for Bronze, Silver or Gold certification and complete the assessment.
  3. Claim the applicable subsidy, joining reward, handholding and testing/certification reimbursement.
