Up to INR 15 lakh to scale operations (new markets, branding and marketing, product features, customer acquisition). 50% of the approved grant amount must be brought as margin money. Startups that availed the old Scale-up Grant (INR 12 lakh) are eligible only for a INR 3 lakh top-up; earlier Idea, Productization or Market Acceleration grants reduce the claimable amount.

Who can apply
- Stage: seed and Series A
- Locally registered entity required
Must have generated INR 10 lakh revenue from the product in the last 6 months OR raised at least INR 30 lakh through external equity; must own an innovative technology-based product; valid KSUM Unique ID; Pvt Ltd / LLP / OPC with active MCA status.
How to apply
- Apply through the KSUM website during the official call for applications (grants.startupmission.in). — link
- Application is scrutinised by KSUM officials; shortlisted applicants are notified by email.
- Shortlisted startups present their idea and fund utilisation plan before the Expert Committee, evaluated on Team, Product Innovation, Marketing, Financials and Grant Utilisation Plan.
- Approval by the CEO/Chairman of KSUM, then document submission and agreement with KSUM.
- Grant is disbursed in milestone-based tranches (generally 50% first tranche, balance after progress review and utilisation certificate).
