Seed Fund is designed to 'assist innovators at Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Science Councils (SCs) and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs)' to convert research outputs into prototypes and commercialisable ideas, at TRL 3-8.

  1. Identify the correct instrument for your technology readiness level (Seed Fund TRL 3-8; Technology Development Fund TRL 4-7; Commercialisation Support Fund TRL 8-9). — link
  2. Apply through the open call or through a TIA implementing partner.
  3. Technical and commercial due diligence, then contracting and milestone-based disbursement.
