Grants to businesses, nonprofits, governmental entities and higher education involved in space exploration, research or aeronautics, in five areas: emerging technology, research and development, workforce training, materials curation and infrastructure. To date $150 million has been awarded to 24 projects (individual awards range from $250,000 to $15,000,000).
