Portfolio companies must commit to 'building a diverse workforce in New York State, generating new jobs and other economic activity'; the fund also considers companies 'willing to relocate to New York', so a New York entity is not a precondition to first contact. Partly capitalised with federal SSBCI funds, which carry federal eligibility certifications. No SAM.gov registration or UEI required by the startup.
