ARPA-E OPEN Funding Opportunity Announcement
Status not published
OPEN is issued roughly every three years (2009, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2021, 2024) rather than annually. Between OPEN calls ARPA-E issues numerous targeted programme FOAs continuously on the ARPA-E eXCHANGE.
ARPA-E OPEN awards have historically ranged from about $250,000 to $10 million per project, with most in the $1m-$5m range over 2-3 years. Cost share is normally 20% for research projects and higher for development projects, reducible for small businesses.
You must co-fund 20%.
