Three fellows are selected from each of nine regions (27 fellows per edition). Fellowship support (INSEAD programme, coaching, media training) is provided in addition.

Who can apply

For-profit only. Revenue between $50,000 and $5 million in the last closed fiscal year; 5-250 team members; must not have raised more than $2 million USD in dilutive or potentially dilutive funding; applicant must be a woman in a main leadership position and part of the founding team owning a share at least equal to each co-founder; business must be incorporated and majority founder/team owned, an original creation (no spin-offs or franchises); English at CEFR B2 or above; must commit to the full-year fellowship and report impact for three years afterwards.

  3. Shortlisting, then due diligence by CWI partners, then jury ranking.
  4. Fellows announced and celebrated at the annual awards ceremony; fellowship programme runs January to December of the award year.
