Small businesses headquartered in the State of São Paulo with up to 250 employees. Research must be conducted in São Paulo State; the principal investigator must be linked to the company.

How to apply

  1. Confirm the company is based in the State of São Paulo and has no more than 250 employees.
  2. Register the responsible researcher and the company in FAPESP's SAGe system.
  3. Submit the Phase 1 proposal by the cut-off date.
  4. Peer review; on approval, sign the Termo de Outorga and execute the 12-month feasibility project.
  5. Apply for Phase 2 (up to 24 months, larger budget) on completion.
