GIVEN: USD 200,000 investment from the Berkeley SkyDeck Fund for companies in the six-month Batch programme, plus workspace and mentorship. Roughly 20 startups are selected every six months. TAKEN: an equity stake for the investment; SkyDeck does not publish the percentage on its site. The separate HotDesk programme and the Pad-13 incubator provide space and support without the investment.
