Monozukuri Subsidy (Manufacturing, Commerce and Service Productivity Improvement Promotion Subsidy)

Subsidy caps scale with headcount and frame. Per the 23rd-round 公募要領: 6-20 employees JPY 10 million, 21-50 employees JPY 15 million, 51+ employees JPY 25 million for one frame, and JPY 30 million for another; subsidy rate 1/2 for SMEs and 2/3 for small enterprises, small-scale business operators and restructuring businesses; floor JPY 1 million. A wage-increase uplift adds up to JPY 1 million (1-5 staff), JPY 2.5 million (6-20) or JPY 10 million (21-50 and 51+) to each frame's cap. Costs other than machinery/system construction are capped at JPY 5 million ex-tax in total (JPY 10 million for the global frame).
