Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Schemes
Status not published
Each of the 14+ sectoral PLI schemes has its own application window; several rounds have closed while others (for example electronics components, specialty steel and drones) have reopened. Check the administering ministry for the specific sector.
Incentive paid as a percentage (typically 4-6%, higher in some sectors) of incremental sales of eligible goods manufactured in India over a base year, for five years. Minimum investment and turnover thresholds are high, so PLI is generally reachable only by scaled manufacturing companies rather than early-stage startups.
