A one-time, non-dilutive, milestone-linked grant-in-aid to take an idea to proof of concept, run in multiple tracks (general, Aspire for Beyond Bengaluru, Shakti for women-led, Unnati for SC/ST-led). The commonly cited ceiling is INR 50 lakh, but neither startup.karnataka.gov.in nor elevate.startupkarnataka.gov.in would resolve or load at the time of verification, so the amount is recorded as null rather than taken from aggregator sites.

Who can apply

Startup must be registered and headquartered in Karnataka. Track-specific criteria apply for the Aspire (outside Bengaluru Urban), Shakti (women-led) and Unnati (SC/ST-led) tracks. DPIIT recognition is generally expected by Karnataka for state startup benefits but I could not confirm this on an official Karnataka page at the time of verification.

How to apply

  1. Check the current ELEVATE call and track-specific eligibility on the Startup Karnataka portal. — link
  2. Register and submit the application on the ELEVATE portal during an open window.
  3. Shortlisted startups pitch to an evaluation panel; selected startups receive grant-in-aid released against milestones.
