Techstars runs dozens of thematic and city programmes with staggered deadlines. Most run two main application seasons per year (Spring and Fall cohorts), each with its own published deadline. Techstars has consolidated its programme portfolio in recent years and several long-running city programmes (including Seattle, Boulder and Austin) were discontinued in 2024.
GIVEN: USD 220,000 (USD 120,000 in Asia-Pacific programmes). TAKEN: 5% common stock, plus whatever the USD 200,000 uncapped MFN SAFE converts into at the next priced round. Structure: a USD 20,000 fixed-percentage Convertible Equity Agreement for 5% common that converts on a priced round of at least USD 1m, plus a USD 200,000 uncapped MFN SAFE. A side letter grants pro rata, digital-asset and drag-along rights.
