75% of national patent fees up to EUR 1,000, and 75% of European patent filing and search fees plus 50% of European patent legal costs (legal costs capped at EUR 1,500), within an overall ceiling of EUR 2,500 per beneficiary.
You must co-fund 25%.

Who can apply
- Stage: pre_seed, seed, series_a, growth
- Locally registered entity required
All SMEs established in the EU are eligible. Must meet the EU SME definition (headcount, turnover or balance sheet thresholds). First come, first served until the voucher's budget is exhausted.
How to apply
- Check you meet the EU SME definition and that the voucher you need still has budget
- Create an EUIPO account and apply on the SME Fund 2026 page (first come, first served)
- Receive the voucher decision, then file the IP application and pay the office fee yourself
- Activate the voucher and submit a reimbursement request within the voucher validity period
- EUIPO pays the reimbursement to the bank account provided
What you will need
- VAT or tax identification number certificate
- Bank statement showing company name, IBAN and BIC
- Declaration of honour if an external representative applies on your behalf (if applicable)
