- Locally registered entity required
Open to single entities (start-ups, SMEs, research organisations, universities), small consortia of minimum 2 legal entities from different Member States/Associated Countries, or multi-beneficiary consortia of 3-5 independent legal entities. Crucially, the project must build on results of a specific eligible prior project - you cannot enter EIC Transition from a standing start.
How to apply
- Confirm your project builds on results from an eligible source project at experimental proof of concept (TRL 3 completed) or, ideally, technology validated in the lab (TRL 4). — link
- Register on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal and obtain a PIC. — link
- Submit a single-stage full proposal by the annual deadline; remote evaluation followed by an interview for shortlisted proposals. — link
