Founders (including freelancers), successors and young entrepreneurs active under 5 years; applicant must be or become part of management; company seat and investment location in Germany.

How to apply

  1. Apply for the loan at a financing partner before starting the project.
  2. The bank applies for the guarantee from the competent Bürgschaftsbank. — link
  3. After the guarantee review, KfW checks eligibility and sends approval to the bank.
  4. Sign the loan contract and draw the funds within 12 months.
