Benefit is in-kind (access to pre-competitive research results), not a cash grant to the SME. In January 2026 BMWE authorised ten additional Forschungsvereinigungen, widening the technology coverage.

- Identify the Forschungsvereinigung (industry research association) covering your sector. — link
