Each eligible company can receive support for at most five self-contained consultations under the guideline (to 31 Dec 2026), no more than two per year. Who can apply

SMEs (EU definition). Companies not yet one year on the market must hold an information talk with a regional contact partner before the proof of use is submitted.

How to apply

  1. Apply online via the BAFA application platform before the consultation starts (signing the consulting contract counts as the start). — link
  2. Wait for the information letter from the chosen Leitstelle and BAFA, then begin the consultation.
  3. Within six months, submit the Verwendungsnachweis (proof of use) online. — link
  4. BAFA reviews and pays out the grant.
